Stephen D. McGiffert
Mr. McGiffert received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 1972 earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He attended the University of Kansas Law School and received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1975.
From 1978 to 1983, Mr. McGiffert served as corporate counsel to Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc., a large cooperative wholesale grocery company serving retail grocers in the central Midwestern United States. In that position, he gained extensive experience in the general legal affairs of business entities. Mr. McGiffert has been a speaker to business groups and other attorneys on the topic of legal issues involved in buying and selling businesses.
Mr.
McGiffert is admitted to practice before the bars of the States of Kansas
and Missouri and is admitted to the federal district court in both states.
He is a member of the Johnson County, Kansas and American Bar Associations.
