Michael J. Fischer
Background
Michael Fischer is an associate attorney with the firm, practicing in the firm’s Business Practice Group and handling entrepreneurial, business, tax, real estate, estate planning and related matters, as well as certain collection issues and business litigation.
Mike received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Masters of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate Degrees from the University of Kansas, where he received an award and scholarship for being an Outstanding Undergraduate Student in the Economics Department, was recognized as Student of the Year, and was asked to give the commencement address while studying to attain his M.B.A. While in law school, Mike received several awards for earning top honors in multiple subject areas, and lectured regarding the legal aspects of business as a teaching assistant in Business Law. Mike has written or presented on matters relating to international business, estate planning, collection law, and commercial transactions.
Mike works with entrepreneurs to assist them in selecting choices of entity, creation of organizational documents, agreements among owners and other contract negotiation, real estate and business related matters. Mike is admitted to practice law in Kansas and Missouri, and is a member of the Johnson County, Kansas and American Bar Associations.
