Cara M. Milligan
Background
Cara M. Milligan is an associate in the firm, practicing in the firm's civil litigation group, primarily in the areas of insurance defense, family law, collections, and commercial and personal litigation.
Cara received her undergraduate degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas in 2005 and graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in May, 2008. As an undergraduate student, Cara worked for the KU Football Department and served as an active member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, from which she received numerous academic scholarships. During law school, Cara clerked for Douglas County Chief District Judge Robert Fairchild and served as both Secretary and Treasurer for the class of 2008. Cara also prepared income tax returns for underprivileged individuals and families as a member of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
Cara is admitted to practice law before the state and federal bars in Kansas and she is a member of both the Kansas and American Bar Associations.
